Who were selected for the pundit's EPL weekly best XI?

Following each set of English football matches throughout the campaign, football pundit Troy Deeney will give his team and coach of the Week.

Below are this week's selections. Do you agree? Share your thoughts with the response area further down.

Goalkeeper

Alphonse Areola (West Ham): West Ham might have been trailing by six at Bournemouth without him. Massive moment, stepped up and demonstrated some quality. Excellent keeping to earn them a 2-2 draw. Defeat could have dismantled their entire term.

Defensive unit

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's up there for player of the season. Many discuss Arsenal's squad. He is the top performer without doubt.

Murillo (Nottingham Forest): It would take a mad supporter to say 'Murillo will score and we defeat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You'd have got long shots on that. He shone. He is emerging as a powerhouse. He is truly a challenge. I'm happy to watch him perform like last season.

Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I watched him a few times last year in Italy for AC Milan and he was getting killled because he was making mistakes. But at Newcastle he's been dominant. He displays great strength and powerful and appears graceful. It looks like he has secured a spiritual home.

Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not naturally a full-back, leaning towards a modern type going forward. He has proven to be a wonderful signing for Brighton. Who would be surprised at them unearthing more talent from obscurity? Many felt after selling Pervis Estupinan it raised eyebrows but the Seagulls understand better than most.

Engine room

Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Alike in style and they're in for the same reason. Their teams won, all discuss the scorers, but without these two the sides struggle. They perform brilliantly. They break up play, they attack together.

Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The current star. Many Arsenal fans, like my child, had doubts if he could be the man to secure victory. A hat-trick in the local rivalry and supporters now wish to make a statue of him. Goals, composure, he controlled the game. The top performer on the pitch.

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Perhaps this represents thing that I agree with Thomas Tuchel on - he has reached a point now where it will prove quite challenging to leave him out. I felt he began well the term, In my opinion he was a little bit entitled and hoped he might have got a move to Chelsea, and perhaps aimed for that, but he appears to have adapted well. A brilliant brace in the Leeds match helped his club from behind. He made the impact.

Forwards

Callum Wilson (West Ham): I noted he doesn't look his typical form. It seemed he was slower. Yet amazing. Words fail me. He performed superbly. Brilliant in his play and in his dual goals.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A really interesting player. He excels, often more effective off the bench, but with Gordon sidelined so he is required to feature. He missed a key opening against Manchester City at 0-0 with his simplest attempt. However showing the mental fortitude to place himself into tough scenarios and score twice was remarkable.

Boss

Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He comes in and surpasses Arne Slot. A wonderful gameplan. Possibly it was five or six for Forest and nobody could have argued.
